Load case prefixes dialog

Definition of prefixes for the generation of load cases and load sets (and load manager).

Each load case (set) will be generated as: Load case prefix-Prefix Stage number.

Opens when LC names is clicked on the Schedule tab.

For example, for stage number 1, stage prefix STG, and load case prefix for self-weight SW, the generated name will be SW-STG1.
The default prefix names are:
  • SW for self-weight
  • PT for prestressing
  • CS for creep and shrinkage
  • TR for traveler
  • WC for wet concrete
  • BL for blisters
  • CG for cross girders
SettingDescription
Permanent Set this option adjacent to each input field if this load case should be considered as permanent, specifying whether it should be taken into account in the creep and shrinkage calculation or not (as default all load cases are defined as permanent). As the load sets generated for the blister weights are assigned to the self-weight and (if applicable) wet concrete load cases, there are no separate check boxes for these.
Generate load manager Set this option to generate the load manager using the load case prefixes as labels, the summation load cases will get the name Load case prefix-SUM (e.g., SW-SUM). All labels will also be assigned to the corresponding load cases.

Cross-girders and blisters load cases will be included in the SW and WC summation load cases.

These settings are valid for all the schedule groups.
